Kickstart Scholarship program criteria
Important Scholarship Information:
In order to apply for a Scholarship, an applicant
- Must be a current year graduating high school senior or current college student with plans to further his or her education.
- Must provide high school or college transcripts or provide proof of acceptance to an institution of higher learning
- Must submit 2 letters of recommendation from counselors, advisors or community service representatives.
- Must write and submit with this completed application an essay (500 words or less). See below for topic description

First Lady Lynda Sims Scholarship Fund
Pastor Rachel Riley Scholarship Fund
Community-based Student Scholarship Fund
The Families of First Lady Lynda Perry Sims and Pastor Rachel Riley have established scholarships in their names to assist in the support of the educational endeavors of those individuals seeking to further their studies at an accredited institution of higher education.
Preference will be given to a graduating high school senior, but students of all ages are welcome to apply.
Applications will be accepted until July 1
